Happy belated Mother's Day to all you moms out there. I hope you were able to sleep in and didn't have to cook a single meal on Sunday. ☺
I ended up making a simple dinner on Sunday night but that was OK by me.

My little sister made a stellar brunch for us {mom and my little family} on Sunday.
She and her girls served us the most incredible meal.

Salmon eggs benedict with roasted brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes.
Fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls and bottomless mimosas!
As if that wasn't enough calories we polished off this platter of homemade, strawberry cupcakes {Sprinkles cupcake recipe}. Wow, these were amazing, my sister can bake like no other.
After overindulging on food and mimosas, the rest of the day was spent lounging on the sofa with my sweet girl. We rented a few movies and snuggled all afternoon, it was perfect.
So, how was your weekend? Please tell me all about it....
xo~

ReplyDeleteSounds perfect! I love the card your little one made for you. I was ordered to sleep in and not come out until breakfast was ready...no problem there...then my husband and the little one gave me a few special gifts and the rest of the day was spent outside, I wouldn't have changed a thing.
