Channeling....

...the gods of all things weathered and worn,
natural and nubby,
light and lovely ....

...to send me some much needed inspiration and motivation to get some projects done around the house {ornament making, ottoman skirt sewing, sconce painting, etc}

Major bloggers blockage going on this week. Ideas, thoughts? Anything you've always wished I'd post about?

Deep down inside I'm scared stiff that in just over a week I'll be knee deep in holiday decor and the dreaded yearly garage clean up project that comes just after we find our countless crates of holiday garb. Eek...how did we get here so quickly (asking with a deer in the headlights look as the eyes glaze over)? Didn't we just send our kids back to school?

  1. Preach, girl! I feel the same way - except, I'm a bit more inspired now for Christmas and i just can't bring myself to blogging about it before Thanksgiving!

    Total Thanksgiving bloggers-block, here.

And I am in shock that we are already at this 'holiday season' point, school *did* just start!!

    Hugs ~ Tracy.

  2. I think time is moving faster and faster, the seconds are growing shorter, therefore minutes are 60 very short seconds now...hours are 60 very short minutes and on and on. I can't even keep up with the current calendar month sometimes and I'm not that old! I have had a bad case of bloggers block, too.
I enjoy your blog, what you do.
    Hugs, cindy

  12. Yes, I'm in a bit
    of denial, myself....
    I love the holidays,
    but it can add some
    major stress when
    you are already trying
    hard to keep it all
    in balance. Take it
    one day at a time!
    xx Suzanne
