Honest what?

Honest Scrap....does anyone know what this means?

Well me either but it's my very first blog award and I'll take it!! :-)

10 things about me:

1. My family has always called me 'T' {short for Tricia}. For as long as I can remember, every morning when I ventured out into the kitchen to get breakfast my always chipper dad would say "Morning T" {hence the blog name}. Most mornings I was tired and grumpy and just grumbled a response back to him. I lost my dad this past December and am continually seeing his early bird ways and need for artistic and creative expression in myself.

2. I am a very shy person and dread most large functions. I shrink in large crowds.

3. I loathe exercise but force myself to go running early every morning before the family awakens.

4. I am extremely uncoordinated and don't have an athletic bone in my body. I grew up snow skiing so that it is the only athletic thing I can do.

5. Music is my outlet. In addition to my support system {incredible sisters, family, and close friends}, music has gotten me through most of the hard times I've encountered in my life. I constantly change the words to songs to fit in my dog or daughter's names and I sing around the house all the time.

6. I grew up right outside of Boulder, Colorado so I consider myself somewhat of a closet granola. I love patchouli oil, incense, yoga, meditation, new age music, holistic medicine, hemp products, all natural skin care products, flax, and of course....granola. :-)

7. Blogging has made me a more open and friendly person. Leaving comments on all of your fabulous blogs has helped me make small talk with strangers. I find myself smiling at strangers much more frequently now.

8. I am extremely claustrophobic.

9. I have a seriously dangerous fetish with luxury handbags. Not bags with big logos, but bags made by hand in Paris using top quality leather {Hermes anyone?}. I know, this doesn't quite fit into the characteristics of #6, but I'm quirky like that.

10. When I was a little girl I hand made paper flower bouquets, bedspreads, curtains, rugs, etc, for my doll house. I still have these things and recently showed them to my daughter. I shared a room with my little sister growing up and in each room I made a little private vanity area for myself in our closet, complete with a tiny skirted table {or box}. I guess my interest in houses and interior design began way back then.
